This Month
April The bluebell, voted the national flower of England, is a sight that is enjoyed by all. Look closely and you may spot an early bumblebee taking pollen. Please don’t pick the flowers but leave them for others to enjoy. Look at the low branches of the trees and you will spot the swelling leaf buds. If you are a regular visitor to woodlands you may be interested to note the date each year when you see a particular species. This date is much earlier now than, say, twenty years ago!
